A Day at Whitby

One gorgeous Saturday the sun decided to shine.
No one was sick and amazingly, there was nothing planned...
so we hit the east coast.



Welcome to Whitby! If you've read "Dracula", then you'll have heard of this place. Apparently, during Halloween all the Vampires & Goths come out of hiding. (we didn't see any)



A nice lunch and a run-around on the beach.


Sam was having an "I miss my puppies" kind of day and this sweet dog ran right over to him for a cuddle!

The best part for the girls (besides getting to eat a lolli),
was chasing these poor ducks all around the place.



And the rainbow came out and put the perfect finishing touch to our day.
